About MAV
Our promise
Realising potential — we believe in your child as much as you do. We see the potential in each of our students, and we are passionate and committed to ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
Mavericks International School aims to help every student get there through an inclusive, nurturing and empowering learning culture, fostered through all of the school's programmes and operations.
Our vision
To develop well rounded, confident, cheerful, sensible and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential and become independent lifelong learners. We aim for each child to develop a curiosity of learning, discover their interests and grow in their love of learning.
We will do this by providing a welcoming, happy, safe and supportive learning environment in which everyone is equal and valued, where children with differing needs are acknowledged, accepted and met, and all achievements are celebrated together.
Our vision is to prepare a community where all children feel loved, respected and encouraged to be independent in their lifelong journey.
Our mission
To provide a multicultural educational environment in which our students achieve academic and personal growth, and become socially responsible and active global citizens with the ability to face and overcome each challenge of real life.
We accomplish this through a supportive and friendly learning environment, using problem-solving methods. The school follows the best teaching methodology for the holistic development of children. At Mavericks we always focus on visual aids, and make every effort to replace rote learning with learning by doing.

Principal's message
To those who see with loving eyes, life is beautiful.
To those who speak with tender voices, life is peaceful.
To those who help with gentle hands, life is full.
And to those who care with compassionate hearts, life is good beyond all measure!
We believe in a joyful, experiential learning system wherein each child is encouraged to participate wholeheartedly. At Mavericks, we leave no stone unturned to offer multitudes of opportunities to our children; it is for them to make the most of it. Children should be motivated to grab every opportunity that comes their way, which not only helps in their holistic growth but also strengthens their belief in teamwork — so important in this fast-paced world. They need to understand the importance of emotional balance, critical thinking and, most importantly, accepting failure graciously. It is our endeavour to endow them with all these qualities and more.
We believe in empowering our children in such a manner that they act as representatives of a meaningful and value-based society. Our pedagogy, holistic and comprehensive, complements this. We have a team of fabulous faculty members who display boundless energy and intense commitment, which keeps the ethos of our school shining brightly.
There are only two lasting legacies we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots; the other, wings. One is offered by loving parents and the other by us. At Mavericks, each day that unfolds is a wonder and a miracle. When we see our children engaged in multi-skilled activities, we often think: let us keep alive the child's inborn sense of wonder, let us arouse their curiosity to discover the mystery of the world we live in. As they do, the experiences fuel emotional, social, intellectual, physical and ethical development. At Mavericks, we enjoy this journey with our children, reliving and rediscovering the magic of learning.
We are aligned with the thoughts of Buddha: “Each morning, we are born again. What matters the most is whether we have given our best today.”

“Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance.” — Albert Schweitzer
Education is simply the soul of society as it passes from one generation to another. We have always believed that education is not merely about knowledge but about the all-round development of the child. School is a temple of learning where each child enters with immense inborn talent and creativity, in anticipation of materialising their dreams.
We believe education is the most powerful weapon which can change society. Children are the most precious part of a nation, so they should be given the utmost care by society. The most important thing is to create ideal, humble, independent and responsible citizens with moral values.

“I received the fundamentals of my education in school, but that was not enough. My real education, the superstructure, the details, the true architecture, I got out of the public library.” — Isaac Asimov
Education is not just about the subjects that are learnt and taught in school. Becoming educated is not restricted to being in school and then in college, gathering certificates. It is a lifelong exercise that can be unbelievably exciting if only we wish to jump onto the train of experience.
First, we all have to be on the same page: children, teachers and parents have to understand that education is not restricted to lessons taught in the classroom from textbooks. Parents and teachers must encourage children to ask as many questions as they can, for it is in wanting to know that we actually get to know. The thirst for knowledge is not restricted to the child — parents and teachers, too, must keep adding to their own knowledge by keeping their eyes and ears open and reading as much as possible, and ensure children develop these habits as well.
Schools and teachers must also ensure that children have a wealth of enriching experiences. These develop a child's creativity and imagination — often thought to be more important than knowledge. Creativity and imagination make children grow up to be productive adults who arrive as citizens of the world, ready to make their own great contribution to mankind.
